Isaac J. Rudloe, MD
Dr Rudloe is available for consultation in all areas of comprehensive ophthalmology. He is dedicated to helping all patients improve function and quality of life through coordinated eye care with the patient’s other health care providers. He is an expert in small-incision cataract surgery and has special interests in glaucoma management, pterygium excision and oculoplastics. Cataract surgery in the developing world is also an area of focus. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is fluent in Spanish.
Dr Rudloe completed his undergraduate degree at McGill University and attended medical school at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. His ophthalmology residency training was completed at the LSU/Ochsner program in New Orleans in 2007. Prior to joining Coastal Eye Care, from 2007 to 2013, Dr Rudloe was director of Tufts New England Eye Center-Leominster and held the academic title of Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology for Tufts University School of Medicine. He returns to his home state of Maine with his wife and daughter.
